An interesting mixed-species exhibit, with saki monkeys, green iguanas, tortoises, etc.

This is one of the bad exhibits at the Zoo, to much animals in it, they had a lot of troubles with this combination, so they had to remove some of the species out of that exhibit.

The only reasons why they had trouble with the introduction of many species in these exhibits were their own fault for not listening to the experts.

1. Space of the actual forest* exhibit was completely reduced to about half, just as the flooded tank.

2. The design was changed to allow all species (some territorial) to mix with eachother in all areas of the exhibit

3. Very little hiding areas for smaller species, no landscape included, (not part of the original plan)

At the end this is what zoos should be doing mix species exhibits, more species instead of less species, we clearly disagree on that, there is ways this can be achieved, but it includes not cutting corners and listening to professionals (neither is MMZ strong point)

Some of the species houses here:
Golden Conure
White face Saki
Green Iguana
Two species of turtle
Two Toed Sloth* (might have moved)

there are other species, but do not remember all of them at the moment.
