I snuck off the trail and went to the far left end of the exhibit which allowed me to be closest to where the Lions could go. Turns out, (surprise, surprise) it wasn't great idea, which I realized when this female lion decided to run up to the very end of it's exhibit and growl at me..one of the two scariest moments I've ever experienced at a Zoo...
