Eudorcas granti

It's actually Nanger granti, Not Eudorcas granti

The genus Nanger consists of these 3 following species

Grants gazelle (Nanger granti)

Dama gazelle (Nanger dama)

Soemmerrings gazelle (Nanger soemmerringii)

And the genus Eudorcas consists of these 4 following species

Thomsons gazelle (Eudorcas thomsonii)

Red fronted gazelle (Eudorcas rufifrons)

Mongalla gazelle (Eudorcas albonotatus)

Red gazelle (Eudorcas rufina) which is now extinct

As for the particular subspecies of this specimen, it is either one of the following

Roosevelts gazelle (Nanger granti roosevelti)

Or

Southern grants gazelle (Nanger granti granti)

D'you know, I've been calling it Eudorcas ever since the split, entirely wrongly! No idea how that happened!

*shuffles off to correct about 5 spreadsheets...*

At one time Eudorcas and Nanger were each considered a subgenus of Gazella

I can see why you might have made that mistake, Grants gazelles and Thomsons gazelles look quite similar especially in their markings, but the closest relative to Grants gazelles are Soemmerrings gazelles
