Three years ago Tonda ,the female Sumatran orangutan, mate died. Shortly after, Tonda seemed lethargic and not interested in things that before kept her enriched. The facility decided to pair the orangutan with an orange kitten named T.K. which was short for Tonda's kitten. After the two met Tonda seemed rejuvenated and back to her old self. It is one of the most interesting relationships I have ever seen.
