this is one of my favourite tits which I've seen in China -- but every time I see a new one that usually becomes my favourite! A devil of a thing to get a photo of though because they move so quickly!
You're right, the Long-tailed tit is quite a common bird in the Netherlands and I've seen ( and photographed it quite regulary but I actually meant the more "exotic" species of the genus . Funny thing is that this genus has the smallest bill from all birds !
