White Mandarin Ducks
Ewww. I like the coloured ones way more. White or albino animals never look as healthey as normal coloured ones.

seriously, what is the point in creating a white version of a mandarin duck!!!?

Vyskov Zoo

Both the White ['Silver'] Mandarins and Normal Carolina drake in this photo are in dirty condition and do not look as good as they would if they had access to clean water. Both species occur [in aviculture] in Silver and Blonde colour forms. While not as beautiful as the original, they can look good in a mixed group that is mainly Normal with a few of the mutations for contrast. Surely mutation waterfowl are as valid as [for example] breeding different colours in cats or dogs?
They are of course of no conservation value, but neither are most human activities
