You can see that the photo is in "China - Wildlife" section. So, evidently, it's wild. Otherwise it would be in a chinese zoo gallery or in "China - Other".

I missed that one.
I Thoght that Cyanopica cyanus oly lived in Japan and in Spain. I was wrong, again :-)
Nice to have seen them in the wild
 
Cyanopica cyanus lives in Japan, China, Corea, Mongolia and eastern Russia. It doesn't live in Spain. In Spain and Portugal it's substituted by Cyanopica cooki :)
I also saw C. cyanus in captivity at Berlin Tierpark. But I only saw C. cooki once, from the window of the car, too quick to take a photo.

a friend of mine in Denmark keeps and breeds C.cyanus.
My plan is to wisit Spain during vinter and look att the Cranes Grus grus
 
Great! The best place for see them is near my home, in Gallocanta lagoon (Teruel).
