Quite a number of the enclosures at this zoo provide the animals with a fair bit of space (gibbons, coatis, ostriches, mandrills, etc) but the furnishings and enrichment opportunities are basically nonexistent. Why build such large cages and then leave them half empty is what is truly mind-boggling.
