Beijing Zoo shocking enclosures with sick animals

I can't say I find this all suprising... We all know how they treat humans, let alone the animals in their care...

were was the exhibit ? this exhibit gives zoos a bad name

Don't really matter who rules the place, the people will still remain cruel to animals as long as they can make money out of them.

You would think that a city of this magnitude would take more pride in their zoo.

Well I would think not, also if you look closely you can see lots of bubbish most likely thrown by the charming visitors in the enclosure.

Yes, the gabbage and food are all thrown by the visitors, but the attitudes towared animals are changing in our country. Now the zoo has rebuilt the macaque exclosure into a glass-side and close-toped building, and people have no way to throw gabbage into the enclosure any more. Meanwhile, bacause the macaque are common in China, and they are easy-kept, the macaque exclosure is very poor in almost all the Chinese zoos.
