Thanks bongowwf! I've edited the name. It's a bit weird though cause I think this female was housed together with the male Grey Snub-nosed Monkey (see other picture…).
Yes, I believe it is a privilege to have seen this species, though I assume any random visitor to the different Chinese zoos (for example Shanghai or Chengdu) will have their chance of seeing these interesting monkeys… Their exhibit is actually very nice. Of course it is one of the main 'attractions' at the zoo, and so there's a whole complex devoted for the Snub-nosed monkeys. I believe the Beijing zoo keeps 3 species!!! I'll post some pictures of this complex soon!
The two grey snub-nosed monkeys are kept together, they sometimes put young black and golden snub-nosed monkeys in one enclosure to let them play together, but all breeding families are kept seperately.
