tortoise enclosure in Reptile House

had giant tortoises (I cannot remember if Galapagos or Aldabra...baboon will know which one). Also leopard tortoises and there might have been another species as well. This was sort of a randomly-decorated enclosure, vaguely like a desert but it was actually a beach (seagulls, coconut palms, etc) because even tortoises like to take holidays.

See here for what else I saw: http://www.zoochat.com/247/small-review-beijing-zoo-17-sept-337116/

There are two Aldabra and also several African spurred tortoise in the enclosure.

oh, spurred tortoises! That is what happens when one doesn't take notes!

I should also say that this enclosure is much larger than what is shown in this photo. It isn't huge (and it is entirely indoors) but it is an alright size.

As Beijing Zoo used to have Komodo dragon long long ago, I am doubt one of the large enclosures was designed for it......
