Siberian ibex are sturdier and more robust in appearance.
Admittedly, your photograph is not .. that revealing.
Further, several assumptions as per likelihood:
1) The captive-breeding program for Alpine ibex in Europe is more or less designed / geared for ex situ conservation and provision of young animals for re-introduction in the Alpine region, Balkans and Carpathians.
2) The Caprinae/Ovidae direct wildlife trade route for P.R. of China is more targetted towards Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Tuva, Xinjiang, Xizang, Mongolia) / Northern Asia (Russia) and the various species occuring there.
3) Various other P.R. of China zoos maintain by and large Siberian ibex.
I would be happy to provide you an identikit of the various Caprinae and Ovidae.
