the map and signage at the zoo said Wild Yak. All of the other yaks there were plainly domestic yaks but I gather they [i]have[/i] had wild yaks at some point. This individual was huge! He dwarfed the other yaks there as you can see in this photo, and he looks like a wild yak to me. His tail was tipped pale though, so maybe he is not a full wild yak? Impressive beast nonetheless.
