Ring-tailed Lemur Enclosure - 16/04/2016

it looks like the zoo has made amazing strides forward in its primate enclosures since I was there in 2013! (Shanghai Zoo - review of Shanghai Zoo)

This lemur enclosure and the squirrel monkey one are, in particular, like nothing they had there before. And it looks like they may have opened up some of the smaller cages for mandrills etc (i.e. removed partitions to make several small cages into larger cages).

Full thoughts are coming soon! But yes, things seem to be on the up there.

Lovely looking enclosure! Although I do wonder, do they use the stream for anything?
