I have always scorned arguments for letting animals become extinct with dignity. Looking at this photo might make many people wonder if they don't have a point.
The only "silver lining" I can find in some of your photos from this zoo is that the animals appear protected from the visitors. So at least their degradation has limits

I'll write a review in the next day or two, but apart for the feeding of the monkeys and bears (and, really, most other animals) the visitors were all very well behaved. There was none of the disgraceful behaviour I have seen elsewhere. And the zoo was crowded as you can see from the photos (it is a week-long public holiday at the moment in China).
