Chlidonias

blind-snake (Typhlopidae)

perhaps Ramphotyphlops braminus, at Manas National Park, Assam.

This one is freshly-dead unfortunately (as you can probably tell from the kinky body) but very exciting for me to find it nevertheless. In real life it was very small -- that is just regular sand it is lying on -- so it was difficult to see any details.

The Assam region is a hotspot for caecilian diversity also I think? Is this possibly a caecilian?

no it had teeny weeny scales so it was a snake. I've never seen caecilian before though, so that would have been cool.
