There has been much confusion over Sulawesi Draco taxonomy, but in 2007 the members on the island was reviewed, resulting in a handful of allo- and parapatric species (scientific article: pdf). In short, the ones in Tangkoko are D. spilonotus and the ones in your Bantimurung photos are D. walkeri. However, this is based on current taxonomy: I've seen vague indications that further splitting might be necessary in both D. spilonotus (3 main populations, essentially following the distribution pattern of Celebes crested [incl. Tangkoko], Gorontalo and Heck's macaque) and D. walkeri (2 main population, one in the southern arm [incl. Bantimurung] and another in the central parts of the island).
oh awesome. Thanks very much for that! I don't keep as "proper" records of my herptile sightings as I do for the birds and mammals but I always like it when I get things identified eventually
(Basically if I don't identify a bird or mammal it stays off the lists, but all the herptiles get listed as sightings until/if they are named)
