Identification please?

Being in Bali they are not far from the range of Rusa.

The ears look like Rusa. Samba ears are more rounded.

The doe may have her head in a position which makes it look different.
The antlers are a bit strange, with knobbly brow tines. What I was looking for on the main beam was a shorter front tine and longer back tine, then I would be sure.

I'd say Rusa as well. Male sambar tend to have a bit of a ruff around the jawline and neck.

The Bali Zoo website states that it has Timor Deer (Javan Rusa) among others.

I am thinking its a Javan rusa, but I would like to think Bornean sambar because, I havent been able to track down holdings of that subspecies
