one of the few good things about Bukittinggi Zoo - the signage at least provides some information for the visitors. From top down: the Indonesian name of the animal, the scientific binomen, Class, Order, Family, diet, distribution, and conservation status.
This sign is for dusky pademelons [i]Thylogale brunii[/i] from New Guinea (both the generic and specific names are mis-spelled on the sign)
