Does the elephant on the left have any shade?

I assume both animals are chained in the double stall at the back during the night but its hard to say. I doubt they are walked round the zoo either (nor used to give rides) as there just isn't room to do so.

Presumably the concrete trough in the middle is supposed to hold water but I think it was empty when I was there.
