Taken from the terrace on the hill, these shots show the size of the bathing pools for the rhinos, which also act as the moats for primate islands.

Maguari, Fantastic photographs as ever! Is that the rhino exhibit/house in the foreground and a densely planted primate island to left of the animal?

The building at front is the rhino house; the primate island (in this case the Lion-tailed Macaque island) is actually to the right of the animal; the other area is just a planted barrier area as I recall. Certainly I've never seen rhinos with more water area than this.

The Pygmy Hippos also get huge water areas by using the primate barriers (further photos to follow!).
