well there were a lot (I don't know how many) but this species is also extremely long and slender so it doesn't take many individuals to look like a lot if they are all coiled up together. The enclosure wasn't huge but it certainly wasn't small. Most of the snakes just seemed to be preferring to be in this one spot.
