Another great mixed-species exhibit.

Island flying foxes
Lesser dog-faced fruit bats
Lesser mousedeer
Black-naped oriole
Blue-winged pitta
Green peafowl
Black giant squirrel
Common hill mynah
Little heron
Leafbirds
River terrapins
Tilapia
...and I think there\'s more.

That is a great species mix, although the exhibit seems a little barren. A few more plants, perhaps a few shrubs would be nice, there doesn't seem to be any species that would decimate plantings in there.

I'll try and post another photo showing this large enclosure a bit better. Although it seems fairly barren from this point of view, there is enough on the ground that seeing even mousedeer and otters is difficult, let alone pittas. The whole enclosure is shaded, so as long as the animals can hide with ease I think it does the job quite well.
