Ab fab that these old primate enclosures have been updated for hornbills.
I would eventually hope a return of primates (notably Colobinae) back into Zoo Negara ..., in open-topped enclosures and holding the diversity of S.E. Asian primates.
Incidentally: which species of hornbill(s) are housed in these?
Oriental pied, greater, rhinoceros ...?
arrg, I knew someone was going to ask that and I didn't take notes apparently. Perhaps devilfish can answer it. I know there were Oriental pied, several pairs of rhinoceros, white-crowned, and wreathed (or wrinkled?). All in pairs. Perhaps great and rufous-necked as well?
