To those of us Americans who refuse to use the metric system like the rest of the world, that means almost 104 degrees (Farenheit).
(In my defense as a southern Arizonan, however, I will note that Interstate 19 which runs from Tucson to the Mexican border is allegedly the only US Interstate that is signed in kilometers instead of miles).
the white tigers at Zoo Negara came from the Indira Gandhi Zoological Park in India in exchange for giraffes. I wonder if that means they are pure white Bengal tigers? Have the white tigers in India also been crossed with other subspecies (i.e. have white tigers been imported into India from, say, the USA or Europe to mix in with the Indian population?).
On Arizona Docent's note above, America isn't the only backward country. In Burma they still seem to mostly use miles (on signage and in speech) but there are also signs and maps given in kilometres -- which must be immensely confusing!!
