Is This a Banteng?

I was told that it was but the white behind is not present as in male banteng pictures in the internet. I would appreciate someone enlightening me.

yes it is a bull gayal (domestic form of gaur), although it is weird it has black legs and not white.

this is in the "safari park" part of the collection, where you can go around on foot (as I was doing) or car. He might be perfectly tame but with a beast the size of this one standing on the path staring me down, I turned round and went the other way!!
