A new natural history museum was opened to the public this week. It features a 2-level gallery that focuses mainly on Southeast Asian biodiversity. It is run by the National University of Singapore's Faculty of Science. The museum also has non-public herbarium and zoological reference collections totaling over a million specimens, for academic and research purposes.
The photo shows the exterior of the 7-storey museum, designed to look like a large boulder, with native cliff vegetation growing in terraced planters.
