Thanks for the photos of this exhibit Zooish. It looks like the shoebills have a lot more room now, they seemed rather crowded out by the vegetation in their old exhibit!

But isn't that their preferred habitat in Africa, those dense reed beds almost inaccessible .
Surely such valuable and fragile zoo animals should be given the choice?
