Curious Lory, Jurong BirdPark

There's no place these curious lories won't explore. Within the Lory Loft exhibit, they've damaged water hoses, display shelves and denuded almost all the eucalyptus, golden penda and bottlebrush trees that were planted. Only hardier species and local weeds survive now.
Lory Loft's species mix has been evolving constantly since it opened, especially the non-Lory species. At least 4 cockatoo species (Major Mitchell's, Black Palm, Red-tailed Black, Galah) as well as Vulturine and Eclectus parrots have been housed in the aviary at different points of time.

And I agree with Chlidonias, delicate lory species shouldn't be placed in Lory Loft. The larger species currently residing there are too aggressive.

Sorry if I wasn´t clear, I meant not in Lory Loft but in separate enclosures. i agree that the larger lories would probably be too aggressive and in such a large aviary monitoring smaller birds is bound to be very difficult.
As Jurong´s collection seems to be expanding and improving, hopefully the smaller psittacines will get their turn

Have they trained any of the lories like this one to do any basic plumbing? They may as well try and channel their curiosity into something useful...
