Very interesting addition! All sawfish are CITES I listed and under these rules only Australia has been allowed to export (they're the only with a fairly large remaining population), but in 2011 they decided they wouldn't. I guess they allowed this one because it had been kept for several years prior to the ban at Reef HQ. Considering the precarious sawfish situation in southeast Asia, one can hope this ambassador for the species will serve to inform more people in the region about the threatened status.
