Are there feedings or other incentives to get the macaques to enter the water? It would be a cool spectacle if they had an assigned feeding time where the macaques were tempted into the water with treats to show their swimming ability.
I can feel a new trend coming on. Imagine a children's zoo with an exhibit like this, meerkat pop-up bubbles, a short-clawed otter slide, and a walk-through lemur exhibit.
Thanks for posting the link Zooish, that is awesome. I once saw a family of capybaras (the parents and four babies) swimming underwater somewhat like this, with the babies bounding underwater.
