01/04/2015-This enclosure was one that really confused me. It is moated by a section of water that is separated from where the boat travels yet there is a hot wire that stops capybara from swimming in it. There is a pool that has been built from them and following some rain water builds up in part of the enclosure (which is what you can see in the picture). It just seems to me more logical to allow them in the moat as there would be more swimming space and would have saved the cost of building a pool.
