Have they contacted Singapore Zoo? The problem with sending animals to Europe is ultimately cost. I'm quite sure we have a few surplus animals at the moment.
@Zooish. Don't know, have to ask the next time. As it is a rather small zoo, I doubt they'll invest a lot of money-although they're willling to spend way too much on getting Southern white rhinos from Africa (while other European zoos would welcome them taking their Black rhino offspring...)
