I\'ve been labeling the photos on my computer and have a few that I\'m unsure about what they are. There is actually a cool story about how I even saw this little fella. I was watching the douc langurs and from somewhere near the top of their exhibit this guy jumped out and landed in the moat before swimming towards me and climbing into the plants at my feet.
the green one is the green crested lizard (Bronchocela cristatella).
The monitor I would have said is the water monitor (Varanus salvator) but I can't really be sure so maybe it's a clouded monitor (V. nebulosus) instead?

This is really the best photo I have (I didn't want to upload it properly though because it's a bit crap). I do have one from further away but the same view. It was a fair way from the boardwalk and I only have a little camera with not a lot of zoom (not a euphemism).
It is green and has a crest so ticks all of the boxes

the green crested lizard used to be really common in Singapore, but in the 1980s Calotes versicolor was introduced to the island. Now Calotes is really common everywhere and the native green crested lizard is much less common.
The water monitor is really common all over Singapore. The clouded monitor is less common and mainly found in forest. Because the zoo is next to/in the catchment it could be either I guess. I'd probably still go with water monitor. There doesn't seem to be much pattern on the one in your photo, but someone else will probably be able to identify it conclusively.
