The large group of douc langurs is definitely one of the highlights of Singapore Zoo. I'd definitely recommend attending the monkey feed if you want a good view because that is the only time I saw them descend from the highest reaches of their exhibit.

Thanks, I just did a quick google search for you and one article from 2012 said that the group has 15 members but I don't think I saw that many. I'd guess around 10 though. Maybe someone else knows for sure.

Thanks for the info, PAT. A group of 10 langurs would be 'huge' in captivity. Must definitely be a place worth visiting.

Khao Khew Open Zoo has about 15 individuals, and Dusit Zoo even has around 35(!) individuals last time I checked. :)
