Yes,there are 16 hippos(include one calf born last Nomember) and 7 pygmy hippos in Taipei now.
The new exhibit is suspend because the company Taipei contract with didn't have ability to finish it .The zoo is now finding a new company to do this job , and the new hippo exhibtion will done in 2016/12 .(sorry,my English is poor)
