At this stall it was mostly domestic birds or common endemics. Geese, ducks, turkeys, chickens, quails and pigeons. Maybe a pheasant or two as well. A few bulbuls or laughingthrushes in the cages at the top, I think, and a selection of native doves.
Elsewhere in the market there were only a few more interesting species of native bird, and even they were fairly common. I came across a Cuvier's toucan, lots of bulbuls, mynas, common small passerines and a few barbets, and quite a few more common species of pheasant.
