...... So today I saw probably a couple hundred more squirrels that I'd missed yesterday, as well as a couple of prairie dogs and, yes, a baby palm civet.
I forgot I also saw a pigmy marmoset! It was a bit of a surprise amongst all the squirrels and rabbits, but also not really because I know they are kept as pets in Asia.
It was in a cage behind a window in a locked room which I was refused entry to (not surprisingly) so I don't know what else might have been in there. I could see more cages but the animals were inside their boxes; some looked like squirrels but other than that I can't say.
