Chlidonias

Greater short-nosed fruit bats (Cynopterus sphinx)

in the grounds of the Dusit Zoo, Bangkok. The zoo very kindly has put up an informational sign next to the cluster of palm trees in which the bats live (they bite along the leaves to create a sort of tent under which they roost). I, of course, completely missed the sign on my visit the other week, but I returned today after I was informed of their presence and found this little group.
