Clouded Leopard

Very difficult to get a decent pic as they were up high at the back of a very dark enclosure and as with Leopard Cat had to shoot through small side mesh. Bumped the ISO as high as possible but was so dark that I didn't realise there were two of them until I viewed the image! Unfortunately couldn't get a better angle to get them both in. :-(

Even so it's a nice picture. Do you know if the Chiang Mai Night Safari has had any breeding-results with them ?

Pretty good shot and good job at getting them in focus. If it is as dark as you describe, I assume the autofocus did not work and I know from experience it is really difficult manually focusing in low light like this.

Great shot! I know exactly the position you mean - an amazing feat to get such a great photo.

The autofocus did work, just, but struggled badly. The pic doesn't reflect how dark it really was, presumably due to the high ISO. I should probably have swapped bodies, i.e., 6D for 7D as the 6D has much better high ISO capability than the 7D and can focus better in low light, however I would then have lost the reach of the 7D due to the 1.6x crop factor!
