Pata zoo, less than sub-standard!

Does this photo show the majority of the tiger cage? Good grief!

It looks like it might be the end of it as you can see the mesh overlapping on the left hand side, indicating it's the end of the cage. I wonder how much further it stretches...

The two tiger-(day) cages are around 20 sqmtrs. each

Absolutely disgusting conditions, but that is no longer surprising in certain parts of the world.

I agree. There are certain parts of the world that I'm more suprised/shocked when I see a photo of a good exhibit then photos like this.

Tread carefully... I have tried to raise subjects like that without much success on the site...

Asian zoos in general, apart from maybe the Singapore Zoo, Jurong Bird Park and Singapore Night Safari, are sadly lacking in impressive facilities. The Beijing Zoo has come a long way in recent years, but the number of establishments in Asia that are pure junk is discouraging to all animal lovers.
