Trachypithecus delacouri

Critically endangered Vietnamese endemic that I was to have the privilege of seeing in the wild later in the trip. The total population is no more than 200-250 individuals and falling.

The Centre\'s resident animals are rescues that are unable to be released; as many as possible are released into semi-wild enclosures and ultimately to the wild in the national park.

No worries - they are fantastic creatures - I still can't quite believe my luck to see them wild as well (http://www.zoochat.com/1775/van-long-nature-reserve-13-03-a-294614/).

Is there any zoos which has the Delacour's Langur, except for this primate center?

As far as our guide at the centre knew, the species has never been kept anywhere else (not long-term anyway).
