Arizona Docent 26 Apr 2016 I do not understand why anyone would think adding a crashed plane to the exhibit is a good idea.
zooboy28 26 Apr 2016 Not an entirely original concept, here is a slightly different version: http://www.zoochat.com/104/south-east-asian-lagoon-191629/ I wonder if the idea was boosted by the Madagascar movie? In general, vehicles can be quite effective in animal exhibits, especially where they allow some form of connection (e.g. lion sitting on car bumper while you sit in the front seat). Not sure this plane adds much, but you'd have to see it in person.

ralph 26 Apr 2016 I guess the airplane adds to the ''adventure'' feeling the zoo might try to establish. I am not bothered by it.

L L Loxodonta Cobra 28 Apr 2016 It's not an "adventure" with red-eared sliders. Add a crocodile or something to liven things up.
