Chlidonias 16 Sep 2016 I'm thinking it looks like a small Silver Carp Hypophthalmichthys molitrix. Actually no. The scales are totally wrong. Maybe just a Grass Carp Ctenopharyngodon idella?

devilfish 16 Sep 2016 I'm not so sure- head shape and scales threw me; my impulse was that it was an Asian species which I couldn't quite put my finger on, but I would imagine a local species would be more likely.

Chlidonias 17 Sep 2016 I can't see it being anything other than an Asian cyprinid. There are (I think) several species aquacultured and escaped/released in Argentina. We need temp to come along and identify it from one glance
