When the zoo was renamed as an Ecoparque this year it was mentioned that the old chimp was going to to be moved to a primate sanctuary in brazil as soon as possible. This ended a legal process to give Cecilia the chimpanzee a habeas corpus like Sandra the orangutan at Buenos Aires zoo.
