Having seen the near-total lack of wildlife pictures from Costa Rica, I decided to upload some of my own.
Lake Arenal lies at the foot of the Arenal volcano, and is the largest lake in Costa Rica. It is largely man made as part of a hydroelectric project.
Some of the wildlife we saw in this area included two species of kingfisher, a green iguana, great egret and Neotropical cormorant
