Aalborg Zoo 1986 - Giraffes inspecting zoo visitors

The first genuine zoo I went to and hence maybe the one closest to my heart.

I wish every child could have an experience like shown here.

Yes I have fond memories of the giraffes in this savannah from my childhood as well. However, this interaction with the crowd had to be stopped in 2006 because people did not stop feeding them. Now a low stone wall prevents the giraffes from getting close.
