The Aalborg Zoo of today is nothing like it was then.
This white rhino grouping was a dysfunctional one. The initial group consisted of 1.3 individuals, by 1992 just 0.2 were left of the original group. In 1997 one cow passed away and the zoo received a new male from Zagreb Zoo. The new pair was transferred to Dortmund Zoo in 2005.
