Hello Carlos55, althrough Cuba has its own Whistling duck species ( the Black-billed whistling duck - Dendrocygna arborea ) these are another species of Whistling duck, the Lesser whistling duck - Dendrocygna javanica - from South-east asia
Gracias, everybody. Sadly, most of the bird section at the Havana zoo was being renovated, so i was not able to see more interesting caribbean birds. That will remain a motive for a later visit to Havana.
