Now that i look back at this photo i took a few months ago, questions arise.
Was the enclousure an aviary before ?
Why is the blond girl combing her hair while a juvenile macaque watches her ?
Why is her boyfriend ignoring her ?
Anyway there were about about 12 or 15 macaques here, including various young. There was a lower section which had some branches and mulch.
 
Isn't there an island somewhere in the Caribbean with a large free range population of macaques that was introduced there?
 
According to the journal Cubazoo there are various feral macaque populations on different caribbean islands. Attempts to eliminate them have been unsuccessful.
 
Wally, you must be referering to the colony of macaques on Cayo Santiago maintained by the University of Puerto Rico. valuable research has been made on that group. There is a wikipedia article on Cayo Santiago.
